Today marks 103 days, 4665 insertions, 6083 deletions, 5816 lines of code, and 90 files in 218 commits since the last stable release. Â When I write it out, it really is a lot.
This project has come a long way since its beginnings last September. Â It started out as a simple notification landing page, and now is a full fledged flask app ready to be set free on the world.
This is my first major foray into a real world app written in Python. Â Everything else before this was for fun, a lark, maybe to scratch an itch, but this is something different. Â It's useful and has value.
I think the toughest part of this release is that I know it's not perfect. Â There's some rough edges here and there. Â I know I'll get a few bug reports, and the documentation is not quite there yet, but I wanted it unleashed upon the world prior to our big summer lark before school starts back up for the kids.
Please, if you find something wrong, give me a shout! Â Open an Issue, start a discussion, or pop on into the Telegram Chat and say hi! Â I want to hear from all of you. Â I want to hear your opinions and ways you would do things. Â That's the only way this project, and myself as a programmer, will get better.
Well enjoy this release. Â I'm going to take a couple weeks off from coding and spend some time with my family. Â Cheers!
